Greenville Business Magazine

A Note From The Publisher

By Lori Coon

The past six weeks have definitely felt like a rollercoaster ride to say the least. It has been a true test of the resilience of the businesses in South Carolina.

As with so many companies, we at Integrated Media Publishing have had to step back and look at our business model and evaluate our strengths.

We did not publish our April printed magazines, but instead launched a daily statewide newsletter, The Business Narrative, to keep businesses up to date on the constant changes within our business environment. It has been a huge success.

We did not publish our April issue with a financial theme because so much was changing within the industry. What was relevant one day no longer was the next.

But we're returning to our trusted print products in May because we're confident we can give you compelling, relevant and indispensable information you need - and won't find anywhere else. And I'm pleased to announce Charleston Business will become a monthly publication with the May issue. It's part of our effort to keep you informed about South Carolina business.

Our magazines are dedicated to helping you understand, analyze and learn from business and community leaders. In raising our profile, we want to help shape South Carolina's business narrative.

We're consolidating the financial theme with our May issue, which celebrates our SC Top Workplace recipients.

We held our very first virtual event to announce the rankings of the recipients. I really appreciate the companies who have supported the publications in the past and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for your support!

I grew up in the print industry and I know that it has survived a lot of challenges. With so much false information easily spread throughout social media, now is the time to support those you trust more than ever.

We have been offering a digital magazine for years now. If you would like to continue receiving your printed version, we ask that you please subscribe. That will help cover a portion of our postage costs.

You also can access the digital version from each magazine’s website.

May is typically Small Business Month - a time we celebrate the small businesses that have been the backbone of our business community.

As the government starts to relax the “Stay in Place,” please remember to stay safe. I hear people say that it will be a long time before we are back to normal. We will create our new normal that focuses on the safety and well-being of everyone.

We have been, and will be, here for you.
