V’s Barbershop Opens Greenville Location

The new V’s Barbershop in the Westone plaza in Greenville may be just a few weeks old, but this old-fashioned barbershop is filled with antique barber chairs, barbers dressed in classic uniforms, and iconic sports imagery. Located at 109 West Stone Ave, alongside Moe’s BBQ, Liability Brewing, and Stone Coffee, the new V’s Greenville barbershop is locally owned and operated by Ken and Jennifer Stoner.

“At V’s in Greenville, we’ve brought the old-school barbershop genre into modern times,” said Ken Stoner. “We shine shoes, provide great haircuts and straight-razor shaves, and offer friendly service.”

V’s combines a rich mix of modern amenities, such as flat-screen televisions, a complimentary beer (for those 21 and over), and online booking, with classic style – all while providing patrons with a timeless and authentic barbershop experience. Professionally trained and licensed barbers man six antique Paidar barber chairs (from the 1950s). The shop specializes in all types of haircuts, from classic to fades, as well as hot lather shaves. V’s full-service offerings include high-quality haircuts, straight-razor shaves, men’s facials, face massages, mustache and beard trims, and shoe shines. Every V’s haircut includes a hot lather neck shave and always ends with a complimentary hot towel treatment and a relaxing neck and shoulder massage. V’s is kid-friendly, as it’s meant to be a place where families foster great memories together.

V’s Barbershops began in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix in 1999 and are the brainchild of Jim Valenzuela (Mr. V). Recalling his childhood and going to get a haircut with his dad at Nick’s Barbershop in Tucson, Valenzuela identified a need in the marketplace for a first-class barbershop experience.

“We’re excited to bring V’s and an authentic barbershop experience to Greenville,” said Jim Valenzuela, founder and CEO of V’s Barbershops. “V’s is not only a place for great haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and shoe shines, it’s also a place where neighbors meet and chat about the news of the day.”
