Entercom Expands 96.3 The Block To Anderson County

Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., recently announced the expansion of 96.3 The Block (WFBC-HD2) to 107.7 FM. The addition of this frequency extends the reach of the Upstate’s fastest-growing Urban radio station to Anderson County.

“96.3 The Block has become the top choice for hip-hop and R&B fans in Greenville and Spartanburg over the past four years,” said Steve Sinicropi, senior vice president and market manager of Entercom Greenville-Spartanburg. “We’re excited to answer the call-for-service in Anderson County by adding 107.7 FM. The Block is consistently growing, and adding Anderson County will allow us to serve more listeners and customers who have previously had very limited choices.”

Entercom launched 96.3 The Block in 2015 on 96.3 FM in Greenville County and in 2016 on 104.5 FM in Spartanburg County. The “Steve Harvey Morning Show” can be heard weekdays along with top hip-hop and R&B tracks throughout the day.

Listeners can tune in to 96.3 The Block (WFBC-HD2) on air, as well as nationwide on the RADIO.COM app and website. Fans can also connect with the station on social media via TwitterFacebook, and Instagram.

96.3 The Block is a RADIO.COM station. RADIO.COM now the fastest growing digital audio app in the United States and the current leader in local sports coverage. The digital platform currently has more than 300 stations and 3,000 podcasts with more added continuously.
