BIASC Announces 2019 Upstate Run And Roll 5K Host Committee

The Brain Injury Association of South Carolina (BIASC) announces the 2019 Host Committee for its annual Upstate Run and Roll 5K. The annual 5K and 1 mile walk/roll is BIASC’s primary fundraising event in the Upstate, which will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Cleveland Park in Greenville.

“The work of the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina is important and admirable, and I am pleased to host them in Greenville for their Annual Upstate Run and Roll 5K race,” said Mayor Knox White, City of Greenville. “Brain injuries do not discriminate and can impact anyone at any time. I hope our citizens will consider attending this special event and will join me in my support of this worthy cause.”

The Upstate Run and Roll 5K’s Host Committee is comprised of a passionate group of leaders who represent various industries. Alongside White, other members include: Dr. Sheldon Herring and Elizabeth DuBose with Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation, Jamie and David Prince with Flourish, and DeDe Norungolo, a traumatic brain injury survivor and spokesperson for BIASC.

Sponsors for this annual 5K will include Prisma Health, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Achilles International Greenville, Jackson Stanley Realtors, Drift Float and Spa, Foster Law Firm, Custom Synthesis, LLC, Countybank, Southern Om Hot Yoga, and Philpot Law Firm.

Registration for the Upstate Run and Roll 5K is $35 per general registrant, and $15 per brain injury survivor and full-time student.
