BRIGHT+CO Awarded Mosaic Award for Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion at the 2019 AAAwards
BRIGHT+CO Marketing was honored with the Mosaic Award for diversity and inclusion during the American Advertising Awards on Saturday, February 23. This esteemed award recognizes companies, individuals and agencies whose dedication to diversity and inclusion is evident through creative work and organization-wide initiatives.
The Mosaic Award was presented to BRIGHT+CO in recognition of work done on behalf of Unity Park, a projected 60-arce greenspace west of Downtown Greenville. Unity Park will maintain a historical Greenville greenspace, create opportunities for affordable housing and promote community and diversity by providing a place where groups of all backgrounds can gather.
“Unity Park represents a modern southern community focused on fostering harmony and inclusion among our increasingly diverse community,” says BRIGHT+CO partner and chief creative officer Andy Mendelsohn. “On this project, our team sought to create materials that represent Greenville’s blossoming unity, celebrate its diversity and demonstrate the importance of sustaining a greenspace in a city that’s experiencing rapid and exponential growth.”
BRIGHT+CO, a woman-owned small business, invests in community advocacy through pro bono work and engagement with a variety of non-profit organizations throughout the Upstate. The agency has done work for a variety of work for local businesses that support diversity, community-building and economic development, including the Greenville Chamber, Junior Achievement of Upstate South Carolina and Habitat for Humanity of Greenville.
