#YeahTHATAgenda: EP+Co Honored By Ad Age, Hess America, Food Lion Remodels in South Carolina, 3D Printer Guns, New Augusta Rd Fire Station

Advertising Age has named EP+Co to its annual A-List: The list of companies were chosen by Ad Age editors and will be honored at the media organization's April 15 event in New York City. EP+Co and other A Listers "will not know exactly what they have won until the top prizes are revealed on the night of the A-List and Creativity Awards Gala," Ad Age says.

Last year, EP+Co was praised for its social media campaign for the Ryan Reynolds superhero comedy Deadpool 2. The often sarcastic social media campaign used Twitter and Instragram to live-tweet the Super Bowl, wish Betty White a happy birthday, and mock Deadpool's Marvel compadres, The Avengers. The team also created Twitter and Linked In accounts for Peter, a doughy and powerless member of the Deadpool's X-Force team, all of whom die during the movie in rather gruesome fashion.

In 2018 EP+Co landed such brands as John Deere, Lowes Home Improvement, Morgan Stanley, LinkedIn, and 20th Century Fox. The advertising firm has also set up shop at its CoLab site at Taylors Mill. There, the team can shoot video and stills, as well as craft props.

Recently, one of EP+Co's major clients, Denny's, made the decision to bring some marketing functions in-house after expanding its franchise model and restructuring its marketing division, according to a statement from the diner chain.

Although lessened, the relationship between the two Upstate companies remains.

"EP+Co continues to be a pivotal partner to Denny’s and is working in lock step with our team on some great initiatives for 2019, which we’re all incredibly excited about," Denny's said the statement.
