HTI (Human Technologies, Inc.) was named Global Supplier of the Year by Michelin Group. HTI was selected as one of five companies to receive this award from more than 50,000 global suppliers.

HTI was nominated by Greenville-based Michelin North America and reviewed during a robust evaluation process that emphasizes excellence in four domains: quality of products or services provided, added value they create for Michelin, innovation, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The awards ceremony took place at the “Aventure Michelin” in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The awards were presented by Jean-Dominique Senard, CEO and managing general partner of the Michelin Group, and four members of the Group Executive Committee. HTI was the sole recipient in the field of Services Purchasing and the only North American company to be honored.

HTI partners with Michelin to provide project management services and contingent outsourcing of labor for light industrial projects at five Michelin North America locations. “The partnership that we have with Michelin is very special - they open up the door for us to improve processes and push us to present innovative ideas to improve experiences,” said Brian Buchanan, HTI’s vice president of industrial operations. “I understand fully why Michelin is one of the best companies in the world to work for, but they are also one of the best companies in the world to work with.”

“Receiving the Michelin Global Supplier of the Year Award has been one of the greatest honors bestowed upon HTI,” said Herb Dew, CEO of HTI. “It is a testament to our hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Michelin’s equally strong commitment to people and innovation makes this partnership mutually rewarding.”
