Grice Hunt, Clay Williams, and Ford Borders of NAI Earle Furman represented The Taft Family Office and Appian-Gilliam, LLC, in their purchase of a 23.5-acre (294,590/SF) industrial park located off Gilliam Road near the Inland Port. The site now has a new owner, a new name, and also a newly constructed ±100,000-square-foot speculative building. The park is currently 60 percent leased and has ±147,045 square feet available for lease with direct rail access.

NAI Earle Furman facilitated the transaction and will be handling the management and marketing of the project, overseeing a substantial rebranding effort to reintroduce the park as The Inland Distribution Center.

The Inland Distribution Center is strategically located a few miles off Interstate 85 and neighbors the SC Ports Authority’s Inland Port. The park is positioned to serve a wide variety of uses from warehouse distribution to light manufacturing. The new owner’s goal is to provide a turnkey experience to users in need of cost-effective and highly functional space.

“This investment further executes on our continued confidence in the economic growth hypothesis in the Upstate thanks to the Inland Port, its unique location on the I-85 crescent, and its dynamic workforce and progressive business environment,” said Tom Taft, president of The Taft Family Office.
