Uncommn, one of the leading web design and digital marketing agencies for community financial institutions, announced that it has acquired Marketing Partners Inc., a well-known marketing services company based in Bethlehem, Pa. Since 1997, the agency has assisted hundreds of credit unions with marketing resources and dedicated programs, from small credit unions to those with more than $2 billion in total assets.

Marketing Partners’ product and service lines complement and broaden the current range of services of Uncommn.

Established in 2017, Uncommn provides ADA compliant websites, search engine optimization services, pay-per-click advertising, social media management, and video production.

“After spending time with the Uncommn team, this was a no-brainer for us,” said Marketing Partners CEO Frank Alexander. “We wanted to partner with a firm that would continue to serve our clients well, while also bringing new offerings to the table, such as digital marketing and social media.”

One of the first projects for Uncommn will be to revamp Marketing Partners’ youth financial education programs, such as Dollar Dog, Cha-Ching Checking, and The Edge.

“These great programs will be even greater by adding more tech savvy offerings for the youth they are designed to serve,” said Uncommn President Bo McDonald. “The credit unions utilizing these services will have some of the most relevant, fun, and, most importantly, educational youth marketing programs in the country.”

The combined company will operate as Uncommn Marketing Partners out of its new East North Street office in downtown Greenville, S.C.

“The Marketing Partners transaction presents us with a unique opportunity to further penetrate our core market,” McDonald said. “This adds a new, exciting dimension to Uncommn, giving us yet another opportunity to market credit unions and community banks with leading-edge technologies.”
