Immedion LLC, a South Carolina-based provider of data center, Cloud and managed services, announced its intent to acquire Integral Solutions Group (ISG), a full-service IT company and data center operator based in Spartanburg, S.C. The acquisition is expected to close in Q3 2018, subject to customary closing conditions. This announcement comes on the heels of Immedion’s latest acquisition in Columbus, Ind. and will bring Immedion to nine data centers in seven markets.
“Since day one, our passion has been to help local businesses solve their IT problems through the delivery of reliable, secure, and ‘Always On’ solutions,” said Immedion CEO Frank Mobley. “This continues to be our top priority, and we believe the added capacity and technical resources from Integral will be beneficial as we continue to serve the current and future needs of our markets.”
Founded in 1987 by J M Smith Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies in South Carolina, Integral Solutions Group is a full-service IT provider offering a comprehensive suite of managed services - available off- and on-premises - and reliable infrastructure solutions including colocation, disaster recovery, cloud computing, and off-site backup. ISG operates a 6,000-square foot, purpose-built data center in Spartanburg designed to meet the highest standards in uptime and has offices in Greenville and Charleston.
“Integral Solutions Group is known for our outstanding customer service and reliability,” said ISG President Joe Strayer. “Partnering with Immedion is a great step to further enhance Managed Service Solutions. Our customers will still get to work with the ISG experts they’ve come to rely on, and the combination of our infrastructure and resources will strengthen the products and services available to them. This is a win for both our companies, and more importantly, a win for clients in the Carolinas.”
