Aug 08, 2018 04:03PM ● By Kathleen Maris
THS Constructors, Inc. announced that current President & COO Dana Emberton has been named the company’s new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Emberton has served THS Constructors as its president & COO for the last three years. In that time, the company has grown more than 60 percent in revenues and 70 percent in employee growth.

After graduating from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in construction management, Emberton managed multiple multi-million dollar projects throughout the United States. In 1990, he joined Suitt Construction in Greenville, the precursor to THS Constructors, Inc., and served in multiple positions for 18 years. He returned to Greenville to serve as vice president of THS in 2013.

Emberton’s primary duties will be to continue to oversee the company’s strategic plan for the future, as well as the day-to-day planning for THS. He will continue to play an active role in both the design and construction phases of each project and will serve as a liaison to the owners and specialty consultants. Emberton will also continue to serve on the THS Constructors, Inc. Board of Directors alongside T. Howard Suitt (founder/chairman), Tom Suitt, Jr. (senior vice president), Ralph Bouton (corporate business development), and Pat Duncan (advisor to the Board.)

Howard Suitt stated, “Dana and I share a three-decade history. I know that through his leadership he has earned his place within the THS family. I am confident that he is up to the challenge of taking our company and associates to new heights.”
