Magicard Ltd, global ID printer manufacturer, announces its expansion into Greenville. Currently, Magicard’s U.S. business operates solely from premises in Kirkland, Wash.

Magicard’s new office will give customers across the United States access to a smoother logistics service.

Greenville-based Shaun Cody, Magicard US’s Head of Sales, said, “Opening a logistics office in Greenville is really encouraging. The U.S. team works hard to ensure all our partners are getting a great service from Magicard, and this expansion will make this even easier.”

Charlie Mayes, newly appointed logistics manager for Magicard’s Greenville logistics facility, said, “It’s exciting to see a global security brand such as Magicard expand to the local area. I’m really looking to getting to know the new team and being part of this expansion.”

As well as the new logistics team, Magicard will also be locating its regional management team, including sales and marketing personnel, into the Greenville office.

“Greenville was our preferred location in the U.S. for a couple of reasons," said Magicard CEO Ian Cliffe. "Fundamentally, a base close to the East Coast makes our logistics simpler and quicker, reducing our shipment times from the U.K. into the U.S. market, which is so very important for Magicard. In addition, the employment market in Greenville is vibrant with a good stock of highly trained and capable people, which means we have a good chance of finding great new colleagues more easily than would be the case elsewhere in the country."

Founded in 1992, Magicard is a pioneer of ID card printing with a full range of desktop devices for every secure ID card issuance requirement. Magicard printers are renowned for their built-in security features, including the HoloKote secure watermark.

Tens of thousands of Magicard printers are shipped from its UK manufacturing center to more than 100 countries around the World each year. Magicard printers are trusted to print millions of secure ID cards annually, including drivers licences and national ID cards.

Manufacturing is centerd in Weymouth, U.K. with additional sales and service offices in the United States, Dubai, and China.
