The firm behind the new NorthPointe Standard redevelopment on Wade Hampton, Rallis Holdings LLC, plans to build a new self-storage facility at 237 Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greenville.

The site is a block from NorthPointe Standard in a location formerly designated for single-family residential.

The parcel is 5.634 acres and was sold to Rallis Holding Company LLC in 2016 for $850,000 before ending up in the hands of Rallis Holdings LLC, according to Greenville County records.

NorthPointe Standard is currently home to D'Allessandro's Pizza, a popular Charleston pizzeria which recently opened a Greenville outlet.

The strip mall is also across the street from the mixed-use NorthPointe project. Central Realty Holdings is behind the NorthPointe development.

If the application to the Board of Zoning Appeals is approved for 237 Wade Hampton, the Rallis Holdings self-storage facility would potentially join the recently completed Lockbox Storage at 426 Wade Hampton Blvd. down the street.

Over the past few years, Greenville has seen an increase in the number of new self-storage facilities. A proposed mixed-use self-storage facility in the West End has been informally reviewed by the Design and Review Board, but according to the group's agenda, no formal application has been submitted.
