After nearly 70 years in business, Harper Corporation General Contractors, a full-service Southeast regional construction management firm headquartered in Greenville, has refreshed its branding and marketing tools to better address the needs of clients. New elements include a new company name, tagline, logo, website, and social media sites.

Harper General Contractors, as the company will now be called, will continue to serve industrial, office, education, environmental systems, healthcare, municipal, and retail markets throughout the southeastern United States.

A driving force in the extremely successful urban renaissance of the Upstate of South Carolina and one of Engineering News Record’s Top 400 National Contractors, Harper has grown from a small local construction company to one of the top construction firms in the Southeast, while continuing to work on projects from $2 million-$100 million in size. The result of a year-long discovery process led by Company President David Wise, this rebranding freshens and updates the company to align with changes over time and reflects a better understanding of clients’ needs, while showcasing Harper’s unique and personal style of doing business, focused on relationships, character, competency, honesty, and confidence.

The new website highlights Harper’s breadth of services, technology, operational strength, types of projects, and impact. The sophisticated, project-focused site also features enhanced functionality that allows users to view more than 300 project profiles organized by market, expertise, location, and approach and accessible in 1-3 clicks, as well as an award-winning brand essence video that concisely tells the Harper story. The revamped social channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, encourage feedback and interaction.

“Our new branding reflects our status as a market leader while allowing us to fully communicate who we are as a company, the work we do, and how and why we do it,” said David Wise, president of Harper General Contractors. “While we are builders, what we truly build extends beyond the confines of a structure to building trust and communities.”

Kyle Snipes, Harper’s business development director, added, “This effort not only differentiates Harper within a crowded field of construction companies but builds on our history and heritage to position us favorably for our next 70 years.”
