Greenville Country Club recently opened its newly renovated aquatics center, kicking off its numerous outdoor summertime activities and events.

“A thank-you is owed to all of our vendors involved in renovating and rejuvenating our aquatics center,” said Matthew Smith, Greenville Country Club’s board president. “I appreciate our membership’s patience throughout the construction and I encourage them all to take a relaxing swim this summer and truly enjoy the pool.”

Greenville Country Club’s pool complex features two newly designed pools, decorative railings and walls, landscape planters, an updated furniture package, and new A/V system. The Competition Pool is an eight-lane, 25-meter lap pool with two diving boards and a state-of-the-art gutter-style filtration system. The Family Pool includes a 1,200-square-foot sundeck with submersible chairs, bubblers, Roman jets, a kiddie slide, and bench seating integral to the pool walls.

The overall complex is approximately 34,000-square-feet with 9,500-square-feet of pools and a 5,000-square-foot Pool House. The center was designed by McMillian Pazdan Smith and built by Harper Corporation and Paddock Pool Equipment Co. The surrounding fencing was fabricated by The Heirloom Companies.

This renovation is a part of Phase II of an overall rejuvenation plan for the Club’s facilities and amenities. The Club’s tennis complex will be enhanced next.
