Industrial real estate executive Perry Major has joined JLL as a senior vice president. With more than 14 years of experience, Major will be based in JLL’s Charlotte office and will focus on the Upstate South Carolina industrial markets of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson.

Major joins JLL from Avison Young, where he served as senior vice president of industrial brokerage. Major began his career with CBRE | The Furman Co. and then transitioned to Prologis in Greenville, where he stabilized a 3.1-million-square-foot industrial portfolio. After several years, Major returned to CBRE | The Furman Co. and became a top producer in the market.

“Perry’s market knowledge and experience will allow us to better serve current and future clients who are doing business in the Upstate,” said Chase Monroe, JLL Carolinas market director. “We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”

A Greenville native, Major holds the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation and completed leasing and sales transactions totalling more than 1.8 million square feet last year.

“JLL is one of the most highly regarded commercial real estate firms in the Carolinas, and I’m excited about the opportunity to further develop its presence in the Upstate,” said Major.
