Professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has named Jessica Donan managing partner of its Greenville office, effective June 29, succeeding Phil Snipes upon his retirement. Snipes has been with EY for 39 years. Through this transition, Donan will assume responsibility for all services and resources in the South Carolina market, maintaining high-performing client serving teams, developing EY’s people, and fostering a strong culture of exceptional client service.

“EY Greenville has thrived alongside Phil’s outstanding leadership, and I know Jessica’s extensive background as an assurance partner and passion for people make her uniquely suited to build upon the momentum established,” said Sam Johnson, Americas vice chair and Southeast region managing partner. “I am confident under Jessica’s guidance we will continue to make a meaningful impact on the businesses we serve by expanding and significantly investing in this market and we will continue to make valuable contributions to the community.”

With 19 years of public accounting experience, Donan has served public and private clients in the global industrial manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, transportation, and technology industries. While serving these clients, Donan has gained experience in initial public offerings, debt offerings, and private equity offerings. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge in the areas of inventory, business combinations, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring while serving a diverse client base in multiple cities.

Donan received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Memphis as well as a Masters in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and Tennessee.

“We have a remarkable team in South Carolina, and I am excited to see all we can achieve together,” said Donan. “At EY, we believe true success and growth in the market stems from the development and engagement of our people. In this new role, I look forward to enabling our people to continue to provide our clients with the quality service that sets us apart.”

The EY Greenville office is home to more than 77 assurance, tax, transaction and consulting professionals and serves clients across all sectors and industries.
