Interim Healthcare Receives High Rating

Mar 30, 2018 02:28PM ● By Kathleen Maris

Interim HealthCare of the Upstate, a locally owned and operated home health and hospice services provider, has recently received a superlative 5-star rating through Medicare.gov, a ranking that Interim has consistently held for the past eight quarterly rating periods. The ratings, on a 1-to-5 scale, reflect the quality of care delivered by home healthcare providers. To secure a 5-star rating, the highest possible accolade, ranks Interim among a select few providers nationally.

In 2013, Medicare.gov began using the Patient Survey Star Ratings and the Quality of Patient Care Star Rating systems to help people determine what home care agencies offered the best and most reliable in-home care services.

“It’s quite an honor for any home care agency to consistently hold such a strong ranking for so long,” said Charyl Schroeder, CEO of Interim of the Upstate. “For Interim of the Upstate, this ranking is a testament to our people, who work tirelessly every day to ensure positive outcomes for the patients we serve. To receive eight straight quarters of 5-star recognition really affirms the level of care they provide and the relationships they build with their patients.”
