Greenville Natural Health Adds New Hire

Susan Lorentzen recently joined the staff of Greenville Natural Health as a licensed acupuncturist. She has pursued a career in natural health and wellness for more than 25 years, and offers clients acupuncture, Chinese herbs, lymphatic enhancement therapy, biopuncture (plant-based injections for pain), B12 injections, and cold laser therapy. Her areas of specialty include pain, anxiety and depression, PTSD, headaches, insomnia, and nausea from chemotherapy.

She completed massage therapy training at Blue Sky Education Foundation in 1994, and received Hatha yoga certification and Holistic Nutrition degree at the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts in 1997. Lorentzen earned her master's of science in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 2003. She studied at Guangzhou University in China for an Oriental medicine internship. From 1993 to 2011 she was in private practice in Wisconsin. In 2011, she moved to Asheville, N.C., to teach and supervise students at Daoist Traditions Acupuncture College.
