Bon Secours St. Francis Health System has announced the appointment of Dr. Tom Cummins as its new chief medical officer.

Cummins joins Bon Secours from Little Rock, Ark. where he served first as a hospitalist and then as senior vice president and CMO of CHI St. Vincent Arkansas, a 4-hospital, 850-bed health system. Prior to that, he practiced Internal Medicine in a private practice. He has a background in clinical, operational, and financial performance and is focused on provider relationships and engagement.
