CBRE, together with NRE Property Group, arranged the sale of 400 Church St., a vacant development site in downtown Greenville. The property is situated on the corners of North Church Street, Beattie Place and North Street, across from Christ Episcopal Church and The Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Kana Gateway, LLC, acquired the 1.83-acre property for $3 million.

NRE Property Group’s Marty Navarro together with CBRE’s Stephen Navarro and Charles Gouch, represented the seller, Greenville Gateway Developers, LLC, in this off-market transaction.

“This site is one of the most visible properties in downtown Greenville and is therefore optimal for a mixed-use development,” said Mr. Gouch, senior vice president at CBRE. “400 Church Street offers high visibility with combined traffic counts of over 55,000. Its proximity to Main Street and prominent downtown sites, amenities, and parking pose unique opportunities to transform the property into Greenville’s next big redevelopment site.”

The former Memorial Auditorium site was last acquired by Greenville Gateway Developers in 2008.
