Crawford Strategy, a full-service agency providing strategic and creative communications solutions to organizations, awarded its third annual Sandy Linning Scholarship to Hunter McAbee, a Greenville Technical College student pursuing a marketing degree.

“Hunter displays the dedication and vision that our team wants to recognize and reward,” said Marion Crawford, president and CEO of Crawford Strategy. “We are honored to be a small part of Hunter’s journey and believe she has a bright future in the industry.”

McAbee will graduate Greenville Tech in the spring of 2018 and currently works full-time for Chick-fil-A. In her spare time, she is a dance instructor, providing volunteer instruction for children who cannot afford the cost of classes. She is also active in her church, volunteering in multiple capacities, from church marketing promotions to summer camp and nursery.

McAbee is the third recipient of the annual scholarship, which was established by Crawford Strategy in 2015 to honor Sandy Linning, a strategic advisor and lifelong friend of company founder Marion Crawford. The scholarship is awarded annually to a communications student who receives a faculty recommendation and meets the requirements of eligibility.
