Stanley Black & Decker Opens York Location

Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), one of the world's largest tool and storage companies, is opening a new manufacturing facility in York County. The new operations are projected to bring $31 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 500 new jobs.
An internationally-recognized Fortune 500 company, Stanley Black & Decker is a diversified global provider of hand tools, power tools, and related accessories; electronic security solutions; and engineered fastening systems.
Stanley Black & Decker will be occupying a new 345,000-square-foot facility for the manufacture and assembly of DEWALT cordless power tools. The new facility will be located in the Lakemont Business Park in Fort Mill.
