Greenville Chamber Hires Two, Promotes Six

The Greenville Chamber has hired two new positions and promoted six team members.

The Greenville Chamber hired Adrea Turner as director of talent and workforce solutions and Tavares Durrah as investor development manager. Julie Alexander, Ebony Austin, Megan Campbell, Kelle Corvin, Hank Hyatt and Jason Zacher have each been promoted.

In her role, Turner will partner with other organizations to attract and retain top talent in Greenville as well as close the growing workforce gap. She brings years of experience from Washington, D.C., having previously served as chief of staff at the District Department of Transportation and senior associate of fiscal and economic policy at Pew Charitable Trusts.

In his role, Durrah will support and develop Chamber investors. He brings extensive experience from the telecommunications industry as a business account executive. 

Alexander has been promoted to senior investor development manager. She will use her Chamber experience to recruit, support, and develop high-level investors.

Austin has been promoted to events and special programs director. In this role, she will oversee all aspects of Chamber events.

Campbell has been promoted to marketing and communications director. In this role, she will lead the Chamber’s marketing and communications efforts.

Corvin has been promoted to investor development manager. She will support and develop Chamber investors.

Hyatt has been promoted to senior vice president of economic competitiveness. He will continue to lead the Chamber’s economic competitiveness initiatives, including Accelerate, Greenville’s private sector-fueled economic development initiative.

Zacher has been promoted to senior vice president of business advocacy. He will continue to oversee all levels of the Chamber’s Business Advocacy initiative.
