Michaela Wild, a Munich native living in Greenville, recently published a book, “One Step At a Time.” Based on her experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the book details the lessons about leadership, love, and overcoming adversity.

“For some people, success, wealth, having great relationships, and being happy and fulfilled seems to be so easy and simple,” says Wild. “They seem to effortlessly have it all. The truth is, they have to face the same obstacles like everybody else. What makes them different? They know a secret that makes them overcome every barrier.”

Wild teaches readers how to access inner power and overcome obstacles; how not to get overwhelmed when a goal seems out of reach; how to take ownership of your own growth as a person; and how to get anywhere in life as long as you just keep moving.

Wild describes climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as a “life-changing experience.” She wrote the book as a way to pass on the lessons she’d learned to help others who may be struggling as well.

“The mountain is a metaphor for so many things in life,” she says. “I wrote this book to inspire people. I want people to know that they can do it, even if they struggle. If I can do it, everybody can do it. It’s not about where you come from what, what you have or don’t have, or skin color…it’s just about taking it one step at a time and keep moving.”

Wild is an entrepreneur. She is the owner of MW Entertaining Inc. and Craine Human Resources GmbH. She also has a global coaching and training business, and leads an international team of trainers and coaches. She is also a certified fitness instructor and a yoga teacher.

Wild lives with her husband in Greenville and is a graduate of the Greenville Founder Institute.
