Kent International Inc., a global supplier of bicycles and accessories for major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Toys R Us and Academy Sporting Goods, announced that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Pedal Chic, America’s most awarded women’s cycling shop, to manufacture a Pedal Chic branded bicycle line and collection of cycling accessories for women. 

“Kent International is excited to add the Pedal Chic brand to our portfolio of bicycles and accessories geared to meet the world’s growing demand for women’s-specific cycling products,” said Scott Kamler, president of Kent International Inc. “The new cycling collection will deliver on Pedal Chic’s longstanding messages of empowerment, transformation, discovery and freedom, while providing fashion and function at an attainable price.”   

The first Pedal Chic collection includes commuter, street, beach and multi-speed models. Pedal Chic bicycles will be available initially through PedalChic.com and in-store at the brand’s new location in Greenville, South Carolina, which is set to open at 250 RiverPlace on the Swamp Rabbit Trail by November 2017. The full line of Pedal Chic bicycles and accessories will be available by summer 2018.
