Liberty Property Trust has broken ground on Caliber North, an extension of the company’s highly successful Caliber Ridge industrial park in Greer. Caliber North is located at I-85, just north of Highway 101, on Green Road near the BMW Manufacturing Plant and in close proximity to Greer’s new inland port.

The new facility will be a 171,600-square-foot warehouse for distribution, light assembly, and manufacturing. It will feature 36-ft. clear heights and a 7-in. concrete slab floor. A second building totaling 94,500 square feet is planned for future development. Both have been designed to achieve LEED certification.

The architect for the project is MCA Architecture, the civil engineer is blueWATER Civil Design, and the general contractor is Harper Corporation. Liberty’s Jaime Maldonado has been named project manager, and Bryan Blythe, also at Liberty, is marketing the development for lease in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.
